In short: we keep what the game needs to work — a player id, your in-game progress and a public nickname — and nothing for advertising. We never see your Google email address, name or photo. Write to privacy@rumbleclash.com and we will send you your data or delete your account.
Who we are
Rumble Clash is a game made by Dan Ben-Dror, an individual developer in Israel, who is responsible for your data. Contact: privacy@rumbleclash.com.
What we collect
When you play online
- A player account. The first time you play online we create an account with a random player id. Your device keeps the sign-in details for it.
- Your nickname. We give you a random one; you can change it. Other players see it in matches, on leaderboards and in friends lists, together with your avatar, trophies and win count.
- Your progress. Coins, credits, the items and looks you own, your loadout, match results, rating, friends and the chat lines you own.
If you sign in with Google
Google gives us an identifier for your Google account — a number that means nothing outside our game — and tells us whether your email address is verified. We keep that identifier so you can sign in again. We do not store your email address, your name or your profile picture. Signing in happens on Google's own screen, under Google's privacy policy.
Technical information
- Server logs. Our servers log each request, including your IP address, for 30 days, to keep the game running and investigate abuse.
- Abuse limits. To limit how fast accounts can be created, we keep a one-way scrambled form of your IP address for a few minutes.
- Play time. The game reports how long it was on screen. We use it only as a total across all players.
On your device
The game stores your progress and sign-in details in your browser's storage, so you can keep playing. Clearing the site's data removes them from the device.
What we don't do
- No advertising, and no advertising or analytics trackers.
- We never sell your data or share it for marketing.
- We never ask for your age beyond confirming you are at least 13, and we don't collect your location.
Who else handles it
- Amazon Web Services hosts the game and stores the data, in Frankfurt, Germany.
- Google, only if you choose to sign in with Google.
- Flagsmith turns game features on and off. Your browser asks it which features are on, so it sees your IP address; we send it nothing about you or your account.
There are no purchases in the game today. When there are, they will go through Google Play, and we will receive a record of what you bought; we will update this policy first.
How long we keep it
Your account and progress are kept while you play. Server logs are deleted after 30 days. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your player data; records we must keep by law (for example, of purchases, once there are any) are kept only for as long as the law requires.
Your choices
You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete your account and everything linked to it. Write to privacy@rumbleclash.com from any address and include your nickname; we reply within 30 days. You can also play without an account: the offline game keeps everything on your device. If you are unhappy with how we handled your data, you may complain to the privacy authority where you live.
Children
Online play is for players aged 13 and over. If you believe a child under 13 has an account, write to us and we will delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update it here and change the date at the top.
